Following the resounding success of our second recent 80’s Tribute Night in March 2026, we are delighted to announce that Nether Whitacre Village Hall will be hosting a Barn Dance on Friday 12th June 2026.

No experience will be necessary and this will be a fabulous evening where you can dance along to the expert calling of the Burdoch Band host!

After weeks of planning every little detail and concerns about the traditional British weather, the sun shone brightly on Nether Whitacre Village Hall as residents of all ages came together on Sunday 11th May for a 40th celebratory anniversary – a truly remarkable Open Day, and what, can only be described as “a resounding success” .

The Nether Whitacre Village Hall Committee would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended the first of a series of “40th Anniversary” celebratory events on 21st March 2025.

“Boogie Nights” – a West Midlands based 80’s Tribute Band thrilled the audience with an eclectic mix of 80’s hits and had everyone strutting their stuff on the dance floor!

REFURBISHMENTS UPDATE

Jaunuary 2019 the new ceiling was installed designed to help with the acoustics when we have live music. New lighting has also been incorporated.

New photos will be updated soon of the new kitchen, also the toilets have also had an update.

An order for new windows throughout the Hall has now been placed with the Classic Window Company and work starts on 7th May. This should help improve the insulation of the building which is a problem at the moment. Later in the year the toilets will be renewed as well as new flooring and redecoration of the Entrance Hall and Committee Room. It is the Committee’s intention to improve facilities for those who use the Hall. We are also looking at ways to improve the …

The Annual General Meeting of the Village Hall is to be held on Wednesday 1st May at 7.30 pm in the Committee Room. Everyone who lives in the Parish of Nether Whitacre is welcome to attend.
